Has this every happened during a taping of a reality show before? I know people have died AFTER, like the guy who recently died who was on Survivor.

It had to be 'addressed', and I guess that's one thing that the producers did this season that wasn't done 'badly'? A tragedy for sure. I think we will see more of a 'rememberance' for him when they have the Men Tell All thingy. Apparently a number of the guys and producers really liked Eric a lot, so may not be the end of it. Guess they've done the best they could so far under the circumstances... :(

@Ruthie...I remember applauding Eric re his observation. The he was in the limo...then it was annouced that he died. Still seems unreal.

Eric is the one that said Andi was being phoney. He was a nice guy, not her type but a great guy.

@Mom...They addressed his death when we last saw him on the show. NOw came the point when the news was broken to everybody else. I have no problem with this. RIP, Eric.

@kaylaperrin I also recall the last conversation on the show between Andi and Eric. Eric was ready to go home on his own accord and let Andi know he felt she wasnt "for real", She was upset with him, trembling and crying over his assessment of her. He was handsome, worldy educated and a GOOD JUDGE of character

How could they actually go on to the rose ceremony and not address this when it happened? Keep them all in the dark until Andi picked the last guy?

I don't blame Chris and Josh for not tearing up and producing fake tears on the account that they didnt get to know him on a personal level. A sad tragedy none the less.

I thought that was handled well. Not exploitative. Sincere sadness on all parts. Again, no easy way of dealing with it.

@mom I think its appropraite to show taht because here on end, there will be an impact on the remaining people. So showing it when it happened in the show will help understanding what happens later. I'm sure they are going to discuss it on the last dates etc.

because it happened during filming of the show,I think they had to show that part. Because the news directly affects how they act after that point
